We have added new functionality to the Ravens Crest East website to take advantage of a new feature in Internet Explorer 8.  One of the new features is called “Web Slice”.

A Web Slice is a specific portion of a webpage that you can subscribe to, and which enables you to see when updated content—such as the local weather, or an updated renovation calendar—is available from our website. Once you have subscribed to the Web Slice, it appears as a link on the Favorites bar. When the Web Slice is updated, the link on the Favorites bar will appear with bold formatting. You can then click the link to see the updated content.

When a Web Slice is available on a webpage, you will see the Web Slice button Picture of the Web Slice button on the Command bar. The Web Slice button will also appear on the webpage next to the content that is available when you point to the content with your mouse.

To get started just go download and install IE8 from Microsoft.com and come back to the Ravens Crest East website and off you go.
