Tomorrow President Elect Barack Obama will be sworn in as our 44th president of the United States of America.  The inauguration will be in Washington DC at the Capitol at 12 noon EST (UTC –500). 

On the technology front it is interesting that the even will be streamed live on the internet via Microsoft Silverlight at Presidential Inauguration Committee. I know that a lot more people will be watching the noon time event since it will be streamed on the internet.  My co-workers and I will be watching on the internet, since we will be at work and there is no TV available. The fact that it will be streamed on the internet means that I will be able to watch it live rather than recoding on my DVR then watching when I come home.
