Today the RCE website got a new banner thanks to the graphical talents of the President, Neil Sutter.  Thanks to Neil we have the beautiful banner at the top of the screen.  We have been flying a temporary banner to date.  Soon we will be able to replace the picture that makes up that banner with one showing the newly renovated buildings.  Neil says he plans an making banners for different seasons and maybe even holidays... can you see a Halloween and Chrismas banner in our future?  Anyway thanks again to Neil for his Graphical work.

Yesterday we signed a contract with KPI 2 after much deliberation. The renovation project is now officially underway. The target start date is April 28th 2008. We are now going into a preconstruction phase with the contractor where we will plan out the logistics and scheduling for the actual implementation of the renovations. Changes to our neighborhood are coming soon. We will post more details on this site as we go forward. We have also created a new Renovation area on the site... just click on the renovation tab above. We also plan to launch this site in the next few weeks so Stay tuned.

I would have never imagined that we would beat Dallas.  Since then we have also beaten the Packers and are in the Superbowl tomorrow against New England. I predict victory over the Pats.  Go Giants!!!

On another note... we are getting ready to start the website development again.  We have run into a couple snags getting the project going with contracts and planning.  This website is a key part of the communication infrastructure for the project.  We will implement a renovation project section that has schedules, logistic plans, frequently asked questions, and other helpful documentation.

Today the Giants play Dallas to stay in the playoffs.  Since there are many Giants fans in Ravens Crest I wanted to say GO GIANTS! 

On another note we are progressing with the renovation project planning so the site has taken a back seat.  Once the Renovation project is undeway and the work is in progress I will refocus my effort to getting this site online.  It is already in great shape but does not have some fit and finish items.  Its already better than the old one, but not quite where I want it at its new launch.

Well Thanksgiving has past and the site is still not complete.  It takes a lot of work and the end of the year is tough with Holidays and getting ready for the annual budget meetings.  This is where we allocate money for next years operations.  Fear not... by the time you read this post it will be history and the site will be online. 

I'm back from my Hiatus from blogging and working on the website. I was away because I was studying for my LEED, AP accreditation.  LEED is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design from the US Green Building Council.  If you want to read up on LEED you can check it out here.  I look forward to utilizing my new knowledge to make some green decisions going forward to save us money and the Earth at the same time.

In any case, I am back now and hopefully we can still target a launch of the new site before Thanksgiving.

I just upgraded the forums code.  The new code is awesome.  It allows private messages, better searching abilities, and a lot more.  I am so excited. 

I added a feed from Google News with a search of Plainsboro, NJ.  In other words its an RSS feed using those keywords.  Pretty cool.  Maybe I'll tune the search parameters to make sure it is more relevant...

Well our hosting provider has moved our application over to our own "app pool".  We have not had a memory issue since the change.  Hopefully it will stay this way.  The site is currently running super fast, and stable!
